Steve Shettler Bio

Steve Shettler is a lifelong resident of Sigourney, Iowa. He and his wife, Staci, are the proud parents of their daughter, Rylie. The Shettlers also have a house full of pets that they love dearly (3 dogs, a cat, and a parrot!)

Steve graduated from Sigourney High School, attended Indian Hills Community College for two years, and graduated from the radio program at AIC in Davenport, Iowa. Steve worked in radio for thirty years, all in southeast Iowa, and was named the Music Row Reporter of the Year in 2020 at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville for his job as music director.

During his years in radio, Steve worked numerous roles: from on-air personality, to sales, to interim general manager. Over the summer of 2023, Steve transitioned into a new venture, Steve Shettler Media, which can best be described as providing community-minded videos

for southeast Iowa on Facebook and Youtube.

Programming on Steve Shettler Media varies with a weekday morning show, a morning ag report, area obituaries, several programs on Christian faith, a weekly pet, the Iowa Music Showcase, and a weekly coaches show. Steve loves southeast Iowa and looks forward to continually

bringing his audience content that they enjoy.
